Based in Banbury, on the Oxford Canal, Ian offers Boat Safety Scheme (BSS) examinations on narrowboats, widebeams and river cruisers on the Oxford Canal, River Thames, Grand Union Canal and the River Avon around Stratford. The cost of a Boat Safety Certificate is £230, which includes the BSS examination and the issue of a BSS Certificate on a successful pass. Should your boat not meet the requirements, Ian is always happy to discuss any plans to make the boat compliant and will offer support by phone, email or Whatsapp until a successful BSS retest takes place.
